1. What does it cost to have a custom PETrait painted of my furchild?

    8 X 10 Single pet in acrylic   7/8th” or 1 ½” deep canvas   start at $180*

    11 X 14 Single pet in acrylic   7/8th” or 1 ½” deep canvas   start at $300*

    *prices are subject to change depending on the number of animals or the complexity of the composition but will always be agreed upon by both parties. Also other canvas sizes are available upon request.

  2. How long does it take to get my painting?

    This one is harder. The length of time can vary depending on my work load. Please let me know if there is an event or date by which you need your painting before I begin. I will give you an idea when I get started as to the length of time I estimate the project to take.

  3. How do we get started?

    Send me your favorite photo of your pet with any relevant information that might help me understand the subject - personality, quirks, nicknames – whatever makes your furry family member special to you. If you can’t choose one photo, please send several and I can help you choose.

  4. Then what happens?

    Once I have the information you sent, we can choose a composition. Please be sure to indicate if any of the background information is meaningful. As you may notice the background in many of my pieces is less than defined – the focus is the pet - but I am happy to include anything important to you.

  5. And then????

    Once I have a photo or photos and we’ve agreed on a composition I’ll email you an invoice for half of the price of the commission. Once I’ve received your deposit I’ll get to work. The second half of the commission will be due when the painting is done.
